Alan Holdsworth is the Director of Disability Equality in Education, a Philadelphia-based non-profit that, with the support of funding from the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council, works to remove disability stigma in K-12 and higher education.

Alan is also a singer and songwriter, and performs as 'Johnny Crescendo.' His music contains messages about disabled civil rights, and has provided a soundtrack to disability campaigning in the US and the UK.
