In this episode, Qudsiya is joined by Sandy Ho, a disability policy researcher and the founder of the Disability & Intersectionality summit. They talk about Sandy’s journey to becoming a disability justice activist and scholar and her creation of the Disability and Intersectionality Summit. Together, they discuss how we can reimagine the way we think about academia and scholarship, and who is included in those spaces.

Sandy Ho is the founder of the Disability & Intersectionality Summit, and a disability policy researcher. Her areas of interest include civic engagement of people with disabilities, access to Medicaid HCBS for people of color with disabilities, and building research capacity among disability advocates. She is a Master of Public Policy student at the Heller School. Sandy identifies as a queer disabled Asian-American woman.
